We were introduced by Visiontech to their innovative new nasal Speculum concept with integrated light guide. An innovation which leads to a significantly more efficient way of working for ENT-doctors. For the first time a head light is not necessary.
Our studio assisted Visiontech in the ergonomical development of the nasal speculum. Through user-centered design we carefully modified the shape of the nasal head so it both fits the light guide and also comforts the patiënt while examining. The initial concept of this device was created by studio mango who was our partner for this project.
After these modifications our team was held responsible for the mass production of this radical new medical instrument. We carried out a streamlined production of plastic and metal injection molded parts, an efficiënt assembly set-up and a well developed quality check system.
