Mygrid Module One
In collaboration with MyGrid, we meticulously advanced and refined Roel Heyninck's inital design of the cutting-edge Module One, MyGrid's innovative mobile home battery. This collaborative journey was anchored in the foundational principles of "form follows function" and the pursuit of enduring design.
The development process began with a deep dive into Mygrid's vision for an efficient and sustainable mobile home battery. It was evident from the outset that the design had to harmonize with the function it served, leveraging state-of-the-art technology for optimal energy storage.
In the pursuit of a battery that could stand the test of time, we drew inspiration from timeless design principles. We were acutely aware that the form of Module One should not only be aesthetically pleasing but also engineered for robustness and efficiency. Clean, unadorned lines, a sleek profile, and a versatile color palette were key elements that defined its aesthetic appeal.
Yet, our collaboration with Mygrid went beyond mere aesthetics. It was a genuine partnership firmly rooted in a shared commitment to sustainability and forward-thinking design. This entailed a meticulous focus on the design for manufacturing and engineering aspects, ensuring that Module One was not only visually appealing but also optimized for efficient assembly and manufacturing.
The result is the Module One – a product that excels both in terms of its intended function and the engineering that underpins it. It not only enhances the spaces it occupies but also sets a new standard for mobile home batteries, marrying innovative technology with timeless design principles to create a product that truly stands the test of time.
