After Belgian Karmeliet was acquired by AB InBev, we were contacted to design a bottle opener for brand activation in France and Holland. This opener is seen as an object of value, a product you want to keep for generations. During our exploration it was important to find the right balance between long-lasting design and the true craftsmanship reflected in the Bosteels Brewery. We quite often explore and question the specific shape of products to be able to find the essence and thereafter create something new. This bottle opener is a simple object with yet a distinct appearance. It can be used, displayed or just be laying around which makes it always accessible for spontaneous drinking moments.
