Elmedix who specialises in an innovative thermal therapy for cancer treatment came to RAAK for development of their first human incubator. The thermal therapy exists of heating the body to 41.5°C for several hours to strengthen the immune system. As a result it kills cancer cells, increases the absorption of chemotherapeutics and makes cancer cells more sensitive to radiation.
